NSIGHT™ ROLLS OUT CONSUMER-BASED TRAVEL INTELLIGENCE PRODUCTS ACROSS FOUR INDUSTRY SEGMENTS
Customized Views Address the Big Data Needs of Destinations, Hotels, Attractions and Agencies
LAS VEGAS, NV (IPW 2013 – June 11, 2013) nSight™, aggregator of live, global travel search and booking data, today announced that it will offer four unique views of its new travel intelligence solution introduced at U.S. Travel Association’s International Pow Wow (IPW) 2013. Users can now know who is searching for and booking their category through an intuitive, graphical business intelligence (BI) dashboard with intent metrics specific to their business.
Aggregating the largest collection of travel search and booking data sources from around the world, nSight delivers a simplified view of the complex behaviors, intentions and personas that influence travel. The new nSight solutions cover these categories:
- nSight™ Destinations – providing a view of select markets and competitor cities that offer similar traveler experiences.
- nSight™ Hotels – allowing individual properties, chains and management companies to benchmark global search performance and compare it against what’s happening now for their property and individual competitor hotels.
- nSight™ Attractions – offering a view of how an attraction is performing online against other local attractions and/or competing attractions in other markets.
- nSight™ Agency – revealing shopping and booking trends, market opportunity and performance against other online sources.
“These operations manage their online businesses very differently,” said Jami Timmons, President and Chief Product Officer at nSight. “With nSight’s custom BI interface , we’re able to deliver not only relevant information that they’ve never had before — like search source market and search window — but also the key predictive metrics of their category in an actionable way.”
On the first day of IPW 2013, nSight met with more than 15 major market destinations and/or hotels who echoed the same shortcomings of established business intelligence solutions – focus on business already booked, not opportunities and limited data on Internet search and booking behavior. They cited dissatisfaction with forecasting their increasingly web-based businesses based on limited channel performance, or the booking trends of a few select brands.
“The feedback from our discussions today with travel organizations from around the world was loud and consistent,” said Rich Maradik, Chairman of nSight. “Once decision makers understand that we offer data about travel purchases in progress – their eyes open wide and we’ve got their attention. Most important for IPW attendees is that nSight’s intent-based intelligence offers marketers a real and time-sensitive opportunity to capture more global travel business.”
U.S. Travel Association’s IPW 2013 is the travel industry’s premier international marketplace and the largest generator of travel to the U.S. During the three-day event, more than 1,000 U.S. travel organizations from every region of the USA and close to 1,200 international and domestic buyers from more than 70 countries, conduct business negotiations that generates more than $3.5 billion in future travel to the U.S.
nSight is exhibiting at the U.S. Travel Association’s IPW 2013 conference in Las Vegas on June 10-12, booth #18.
