Southeast Gets 45% of U.S. Search for February

When it’s cold, head South!

The Southeast region received the most travel searches by far in February with 45% of U.S.-based intent to travel. The trend is driven by people looking to escape the cold, cold weather in the East and MidWest and Spring Break vacations for March and April. The Farwest was the second most searched region at 22%. For international travel to the U.S., the Southeast and Mideast regions tied, attracting 36% of search from outside the U.S. in February.
